SPRING BLACK
BEAR HUNTS:
These hunts are conducted daily from
the base camp by four wheel drive to the river and
then by boat. Bait stations with tree stands are
used. Spot and stalk hunts are also available if
desired. The season runs from mid-May through
mid-June.
The bears in our area come in
various color phases, ranging from blond to
chocolate brown and black. Bears have been taken in
the last couple of years ranging in skull size from
18" to 20 6/8". (NOTE: This is a 2 bear
area.)
FALL MOOSE
HUNT:
This hunt is conducted from log
cabins up on the Buffalo Head Hills, or tents in
other areas. Four & six wheel drive vehicles are
used to and from camp. The season runs from
mid-September through mid-October. These dates
coincide with the moose calling season.
The moose range in size from
30" spread to 55" with an occasional one
going to 60" or better.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Our camp headquarters are self
contained trailer units. Our base camp and spike
camp are log cabins or tents depending on hunting
areas.
Our hearty meals are served by a full-time cook
Camps are limited to four hunters with at least one
guide with every two hunters, or arrangements can be
made for privately guided hunts. Our experienced,
hard working guides help you have a safe, successful
and enjoyable hunt.
All meat, capes and antlers will be taken out of the
field for you. The cost of cutting, wrapping, and
taxidermy are not included in the hunt, but can be
arranged for if desired.
We also offer summer photography and sight seeing
trips.
