In order to achieve our objectives, the club rules and
procedures – explained in considerable detail below – have been put forth
with the principles of QDM (Quality Deer Management) in mind. These rules are
also provided to help develop and maintain the Big Rack Trophy Club properties
as exceptional places to hunt, fish, view wildlife, and form lasting friendships
with fellow club members. Since the club has been established as a trophy club,
we will have no tolerance for violation of State or Federal Game Laws, and just
as importantly, for violations of the club rules and procedures set forth below.
Each Member’s understanding and acceptance of the rules will make every
hunting season a safe, pleasant, and productive one for all. Failure to adhere
to these rules may result in the loss of club membership, annually and possibly
permanently, with no monies being refunded.
2. All members must abide by all
applicable Federal and State Game Laws at all times. NO
EXCEPTIONS.
3. All attempts should be made to
avoid damaging the farmer’s crops, timber, gates, roads, and right-of-ways.
Members found to be deliberately damaged property of any kind will be asked to
leave. Dues will not be refunded.
4. Members should only use
pre-established roads and paths to traverse the properties; do not drive
across any field or waterway with a vehicle or ATV.
5. Members will not damage or interfere
with any of the farming operations. When a farmer is working in a field, no
member will be permitted to hunt in that area.
6. All members are required to carry a
membership card with them at all times. Individuals on the properties who
cannot produce a valid membership card will be considered trespassers and will
be treated as such. Members are requested to record the vehicle make, model,
and tag number of anyone suspected of trespassing and call the law or game
warden.
7. NO LITTERING. Do not leave trash
in the field, in or around any stand location, or on the grounds of the
clubhouse
8. ALL FINES AND FEES WILL BE PAID
BEFORE YOU CAN HUNT OR FISH AGAIN AT BIG RACK.
9. ANY MEMBER REFUSING TO PAY A FINE OR
FEE WILL HAVE THEIR MEMBERSHIP CANCELLED IMMEDIATELY....
CLUB HOUSE:
1. Please take off your muddy, wet, dirty
boots before walking into the clubhouse. We do have a cleaning service but
every little bit on our members part is a help in keeping the clubhouse in a
clean manner.
2. Take all trash with you when you leave
for the completion of your hunting. In short, if you brought it to the club
than you take it away from the club once you leave.
3.There is to be no beer in the fridge at
any time. This does not matter if you are the only one up there because anyone
can come up at any given time. NO HARD STUFF at anytime is to be on club
grounds for any reason. Getting caught with it will cause you to be ask to
leave and you will lose your membership for the year.
4. No smoking inside the clubhouse is
allowed. If you smoke go outside in the yard and not on the back or front
porch. Don't forget second hand smoke is worst for the ones who don't smoke.
5. If staying over night in the upstairs
bunk room, once arriving at the club go ahead and put your sleeping material
on your bunk of choice but once you leave for that trip you must take off
your sleeping material and if you like leave it under the bunk until the next
time up at the club. Failure to do so only causes other members not to
know if that bunk is taken or not.
6. All guest must pay a $10.00 per overnight
stay fee before they can stay the night. Put your name, members name,
date, and number of nights staying on the envelope and place it in the box.
Remember, this must be done as soon as you arrive at the club with NO
EXCEPTIONS.
7. Remember not to leave anything in the
fridge that will go bad. We don't need science experiments going on in the
club. If it won't keep until the next time you come up than throw it away so
someone else doen't have too.
8. No walking around in a towel or being
have dressed. This is a family style club and no one wants to see a member
have dressed. You must get dressed before coming out of the bathroom in order
not to affend anyone. Again, you don't know who came in once you were in
the shower..
9. There will be no fighting inside or
outside the clubhouse. Anyone involved in this will be ask to leave and your
membership will be terminated.
10. If you use any dishes for cooking or
eatting, you must wash them immediately after eatting. Please do not leave any
dishes in the sink and this includes washing out the coffee pot once your
done.
11. When it comes to using food, drink,
spices, etc.. that you did not buy, if you use it all up than replace it
before you leave the club for that day.. We have a Piggy Wiggy in town that
sells everything you will need to replace what you used up.
12. The last but not least is just be
respectful to others that are using the clubhouse. Please do not bring x rated
movies, use any profanity lanuage, no farting or burbing, or any other
disrespectful action amount others that are in the clubhouse.
13. No loaded weapons inside the clubhouse
at any time.
DEER STAND HUNTING RULES:
1. Each member is allowed one stand
that they provide and put up on their own to be called their " Honeyhole
" stand. This is stand is only hunted by that member or anyone he or she
gives permission to hunt. This stand will remain a honeyhole stand
through the first two full weeks of rifle season. Once the following
monday comes, all honeyhole stands will become communtiy stands. The
member who declared that stand a honeyhole stand will get first rights to it
when he or she is at the club. If that member chooses to hunt another stand
that day his or her honeyhole stand will become a community stand at that
point. All other stands put up by the member are to be community stands
from the get go. You must make aware of your honeyhole stand to the club
manager so he can mark it so on the maps.
2. All stands put up by a member must be
made aware of to the club manager. This is so he can mark them on the maps and
also let you know if there are any other stands in the area that could be a
safety issue. Failure to make aware of a stand and this stand is found
on the farms without being marked on the map will result in the stand being
taken down and sold back to the owner for $50.00.
3. All members and thier family members get
first bids on club stands. Once all members and their family has picked a
stand to hunt, all guest will be allowed to pick a stand. If you stay the
night you can pick a stand the night before but otherwise you cannot pick a
stand until 2 hours before sunrise. Once you pick a stand it is yours for the
day even though you come back to the clubhouse for lunch or a nap. If you do
not plan on going back to that stand you picked in the mourning you must
declare this stand open and sign off from it once you come back to the
clubhouse.
4. No honeyhole stands can be declared on
the Hwy 33 or the Knight Farm.
5. If you plan on using a climber on any of
the farms, you must tag out the stand closest to the area you are planning on
hunting and mark on the map where you are going to be.
6. No stand can be placed within 300 yards
of another stand unless approved by the club manager. This again is for safety
as well as respect to other members who might be hunting that stand you are
close too.
7. July 1st is the deadline to put up any
stand that will result in cutting in trails, shooting lanes, or using four
wheelers to do so during the week. This is the time we are letting the farms
go into quiet mode and let the deer get into their hunting movement patterns.
You can still put up stands but you must be able to do so without causing loud
disturbances in the woods with chainsaws or other noisey equipment.
8. All members must get with any other
member in the area they chose to hunt to go over when to go to and when to
leave their stands for that days hunt. No one wants to be in there stand
earlier and than at day break have another member come walking down the trail
to get to their stand. If you show up late and you see you have to wak by
another member who has already gone to their stand, than you need to pick
another stand location.
10. When it comes to getting your animal out
of the area. You must wait until all hunting in that area is completed before
you can go in and get your deer with a four wheeler, truck, or cart. There
will be no blood trailing until all hunting is done in that area as well. Once
you find your deer, there is to be no field dressing due to the bear
population we have and don't want to come face to face with one over a gut
pile.
11. All stand placement, scouting, and
putting out corn will be done on SUNDAYS ONLY after July 1st. The only
exception is if you carry in the corn in as you walk to your stand location.
NO EXCEPTIONS
12. No cutting of pine trees or trees bigger
than 3" for trails or shooting lanes.
13. No building of wooden stands into trees
or pounding in nails or lags into trees.
14. No shooting of your weapon of any type
is to be done while walking in or out from a stand. You don't know if someone
is sitting on the ground and came in after you went to your stand.
15. No smoking or using the bathroom while
in, going, or coming from your stand. Use a bottle if you need to go to the
bathroom and bring the bottle out with you.. Remember, you are not the only
one who is using that stand this year.
16. No trash of any type can be left in or
around the stands. Includes water bottles, candy wrappers, magazines, or pee
bottles.
17. Club Managers have the right to have you
move or take down any stand they feel is a safety issue.

the stand they choose to hunt. Failure to do so will result in a $25.00
fine.
2. No member can leave the hunting club if
there is a member who is still tagged and signed out on one of the farms.
Leaving a sole member out hunting will result in a $25.00 fine and could
result in loss of membership. We don't want someone needing help and having a
member take off without giving the help. If any member fails to sign out once
they are done and cause a member to stay behind to make sure everyone is in
will result in a $25.00 fine and the $25.00 goes to the member who had to do
the waiting. This is all about safety.
3. Each member has one hour after dark to
get back to the clubhouse and let everyone know he or she is safe and doesn't
need any help. Failure to do this will result in a $25.00 fine as well.. No
one wants to wait around and to only find out that the member they are waiting
for stopped to get something to eat or drink before coming back to the
clubhouse. Everyone wants to go home too and we need to remember that.
4. Children 15 and older can hunt a
stand by themselves. Children 12 - 14 can hunt a stand by themselves but must
be in view of their parent or guardian. All children 11 and under must be in
the same stand as their parent or guardian.
5. Each hunter must wear a orange hat or
vest or both while hunting on club grounds. During bow season you must wear a
orange hat or vest while walking to and from the stand but can change once in
the stand.
6. No loaded weapons in your vehicle at any
time.
7. No child under the age of 17 can stay
over night at the clubhouse without a parent, guardian, or adult accepting
responsibility of that child from his or her parent or guardian.
8. Use of radios is strongly encouraged
amoung the members.
9. Any member stop another member who has
been drinking in excess from hunting at any time.. If that member refuses this
request of not hunting he or she will have their membership terminated for a

BEFORE THE GUEST CAN START HUNTING OR FISHING......
1. Each member is allowed ONE guest per
month to fish or small game hunt with a fee of $10.00 per guest visit. You

before they go out hunting.
6. Each member is responsible for their
guest as well as their family members.
7. You are only allowed one guest per hunt
and this does not include your family member.
8. All guests and family members will follow
the rules and regulations set at Big Rack Trophy Club and will have to
pay any fines or fees they shall occur.
9. Any member who fails to have their guest

that member's membership at Big Rack.. So please take care of it as soon as
you get to the club no matter what because is it really worth losing your
membership over...

going to mount the buck than why shoot it..... Let someone else make it their
trophy and put it on their wall.....
1. Everyone will follow and abide by the
State and Federal Game laws at all times. Failure to do so will or may result
in your termination of your membership for the year.
2. All deer will be registered in the State

there are three places you need to record your kill. We are a check in
station so one jawbone must be cut out and tagged correctly with the person's
name, date, # of animal from the state book, and sex of animal. Failure to do
so will result in a $25.00 fine. This info is for the state and also allows us
to get DMAP tags each year so correct info is a must.. ALL DEER MUST BE
WEIGHED AND RECORDED WITH THE CORRECT WEIGHT.

before you do so.
4. Any non-shooter buck shot on the managed
farms will result in a $500.00 fine. So make sure its a shooter before you
shoot...
5. Make every attempt to retrieve your hit
animal to include looking again the next day. Make every shot count and take
only high accurate shots on your animals no matter what type it is. You miss
or cannot find your animal will result in getting your shirttail cut and put

6. All gut barrels must be taken care of the
day or night you have taken your deer. Failure to do so will result in a
$25.00 fine and it will go to the ones who had to take care of it for you.
