Halifax County Guide Service is located in Eastern N.C., just
outside Scotland Neck. We offer guided and semi-guided hunts for
Whitetails and Turkeys. New this year is self guided fishing on the
Roanoke River which includes use of the Log Cabin located on the banks
of the river, along with the use of a private, all weather boat ramp.
Deer hunting is all stand hunting, no dogs. Stands located through out
the property. Stands consist of custom metal ladder stands, climbing
stands, shooting boxes, and one Totally enclosed stand that is great for
parents with younger hunters.
We use food plots, shelled corn and trail cameras, to help
determine where to place hunters. We hunt on Thursday, Friday, Saturday,
and state government holidays. Only 4 hunters/day, unless it's a group
of friends then we'll take up to 6. We're not in the lodging business,
but do have a warm, dry, place on the property that hunters can stay,
free of charge which consist of an old mobile home with a built on room.
Trailer has TV, Refrigerator, Micro-wave, and heat. Cleaning shelter
located out back with refrigerator for storage of game. The Cabin on the
river is also available during deer season, for a small fee. It's about
a 15min. drive to the Guided hunting property. It's also centrally
located to over 3000 acres of NC Wildlife Public Game Lands. Some hunters
may choose to stay at the cabin and hunt the Game Lands on their own. E-mail

Rates, $60/day for hunting, $40/day for fishing, $25/night for the cabin

places charge and simply want an affordable hunt that is fairly close by,

when hunting with us. Also we have the cabin shown above which is a
short drive from our hunting land if you'd prefer to stay there instead.
