Company Profile
AmerLink, America's Log Home Company, has been
producing quality log home packages since 1982 for customers in both
the USA and abroad.
AmerLink is located just north of Rocky Mount,
North Carolina, a city of 50,000 situated on Interstate 95 some 50
miles east of Raleigh, the state capitol.
We look forward to hearing from you and helping

OUR MATERIALS:
Wood Species: We use only the best wood species for our log walls--Eastern White Pine. It's a superior insulator and features a straight grain to minimize twisting. In comparison, such woods as Southern Yellow Pine, Oak or Walnut offer much lower insulating capabilities and will shrink and/or twist to a greater degree than Eastern White Pine.
 
Our package takes the guesswork out and provides you with all the right materials, in the right amounts, necessary to complete a
weather tight shell. Lenders, and builders, prefer it. Our Complete
Weather tight Shell Package
Quality: Real plywood sheathing, not OSB or particle board. Framing lumber with structural integrity. Insulated windows with a superior air infiltration rating. And much more!
Right Down to the Trim: The AmerLink package even includes milled exterior
window and door trim and finished fascia material, both in Eastern White Pine to match the log wood species.
HOME BUYER ASSISTANCE:
Financing: Our long standing relationship with National
and Regional lenders gives you a "log home friendly" source for
financing at competitive rates and terms. And we help every step of the
way!
Builders: We have a network of independent builders
across the US with solid experience and reputations you can talk to before
you make a decision. Or, in many Eastern States, our factory based crew
can put up your AmerLink shell package.
Construction Video: Along with our printed material, our
Construction Video gives you, or your builder, step by step instructions
as to the right way to erect your AmerLink home.

AmerLink's Lifetime Limited Warranty: The warranty covers you for as long
as you live in your AmerLink home--up to your entire lifetime!

Design Choices
Our standard model line includes the 12 floor plans in our
Featured Plans section, plus 63 additional models, separated into 9 Design
Styles. This may help you narrow in on some basics - vacation or primary
home, one or more stories, square footage, number of bedrooms, covered
porch or open deck, etc. But that's only the beginning! Most of our
customers make some personal modifications to even our standard plans and
a growing number go further, providing us with their ideas so we can help
define a home that is truly an individual statement! So, let your
imagination soar!
Log Corner Choices
From the popular notch & pass corner system to the clean lines of the
contemporary corner, the traditional appearance of the dovetail and the
rugged beauty of the saddlenotch, our corner systems are designed to
provide a solid, tight fit. While some may be a more appropriate match
with a given log style, each corner system is available with whatever log
style you choose. All corner systems are illustrated and described in our
Log Home Planning Guide.
 
Log Style Choices
We offer 6 distinct log styles to choose from. The Original Classic Log
style, is the most frequent choice. The rounded exterior clearly says
"log home" while the flat interior features a V-notched groove
to provide the appearance of real wood paneling. Of course, you may decide
that another style, such as the Contemporary Bevel or Notch Lap, will
better suit your needs. Most log styles are available in any one of our 4
log sizes (8/6, 8/8, 12/6 and 12/8) and all feature our WeatherLink
joinery system. All log styles are illustrated and described in our Log
Home Planning Guide.
Interior Decor Ideas
