Stillwater Outfitters and Hunting Lodge was established in 1975 on a small
farm in Halifax county. Originally hunting 400 acres on the family
farm, today we are hunting over 4000 acres of privately owned farms in
Enfield and Scotland Neck. We re a still hunting club.
Stillwater manages and implements programs to help produce quality
whitetail deer. We hunt all types of property from open fields to
pine and hardwood mix timber, to covers and swamps. The best deer
hunting, duck hunting, turkey hunting in the heart of Halifax county.

Clubhouse
and other amenities:
The clubhouse has been newly renovated. Club has storage for
gear, skeet shooting, rifle range with a shooting house, skinning
facilities and satellite TV for members to enjoy all year. Our club
is used all year by members for birthday parties, cookouts, and even fund
raisers. The clubhouse provides a base camp for all hunters and
visitors to sign-in and sign-out while on the property. At the
clubhouse you will find maps to our farms along with the names or number
of all club stands. All stands are first come first served and you
sign the book at the base camp before hunting.

STANDS:
Club stands are located over all the farms in heavily traveled
areas. Most stands are constructed out of steel. We have box
stands, one and two man ladder stands, tripod stands, an also wooden
ground blinds. We continue to build new stands each year and place
them in new areas. The hunting club has several organized work days
and a lot of stand work is done during this time. MEMBERSHIP:
Membership at Stillwater runs around 35 members. This will
average to about 125 acres per hunter. All members hunt by the same
posted bylaws. All farms and stands are open to all members.
Members are allowed to use climbing stands and hunt areas not hunted by a
club stand Membership dues run around $800-$1000 per
year based on a hunting season running from Jan to Jan. Included in
membership dues is the amount set to run the operation of the club plus
assessment for the feeding program. We have food plots planted,
fertilized, and maintained year round. Corn is purchased and
the club feeds from Jan to August on the Manage area only. Feeding
during the hunting season is each hunters preference. LOCATION:
We are conveniently located off Interstate I-95 at the Enfield exit
in Halifax county. The clubhouse is roughly four (4) miles west off
this exit. Located 20 minutes south of Roanoke Rapids and 20 minutes
